Virupaksha, Hindi version to be out on this date 

The film stars Sai Dharam Tej and Samyukta Menon in the prominent roles

The Telugu movie Virupaksha, Starring  Sai Dharam Tej and Samyukta Menon, is set to have a theatrical release in the Hindi circuit on May 5 Friday. Looking at the positive response to the film in the Telugu-speaking states, the makers have decided to roll out the Hindi version as well.

Billed as a mystery horror film, Virupaksha is directed by Karthik Varma Dandu. Penned by Sukumar, who also has big names in his credit, including the colossal hit Pushpa: The Rise starring Allu Arjun, the film was released in theatres on April 21 and opened to positive reviews. 

Virupaksha collected close to Rs 70 crore in the Telugu-speaking states, and it collected Rs 62.5 crore in its first seven days. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad and Manish Shah.

The digital and satellite rights of the film have been acquired by Netflix and Star Maa, respectively.
