The trailer of Farhad Samji’s upcoming comedy series Pop Kaun? was unveiled today. Featuring Kunal Kemmu in the lead, the show also boasts an impressive cast of comedy stalwarts like Saurabh Shukla, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav and the late Satish Kaushik. 

Kunal plays the son of MP Brij Kishore Trivedi played by Johnny Lever. Kunal is going to marry Nupur Sanon’s character but it is revealed that Trivedi is not the father of Kunal’s character. Saurabh Shukla, who plays Nupur’s father, breaks off their marriage till Kunal finds out who his real father is. The series trailer promises a comedy of errors and various hilarious situations. Satish Kaushik, who was known for his impeccable comic timing, also features in the trailer. Johnny Lever’s real-life daughter Jamie is also seen.

Previously, the teaser of the series showed Saurabh Shukla and Johnny Lever parodying the post-credit scene from Pathaan in which Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan comically discuss the future of Hindi cinema before deciding that the mantle, ultimately, is on them to revive Bollywood.
