On Wednesday, Dharma Productions released the first single Tum Kya Mile, from their upcoming film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Composed by Pritam, Arijit Singh has crooned the song with lyrics from Amitabh Bhattacharya. 

The video song follows the accustomed formula of Karan Johar's romantic film songs. Ranveer and Alia are seen amidst snow-packed mountains as they romantically sing 'Tum Kya Mile'. As usual, Alia is seen in several chiffon sarees, while Ranveer has donned classic coats and jerkins. The song reminds us of the onscreen pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

The film also features an ensemble cast of Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi and Dharmendra.

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani marks Karan’s return to the director’s chair after seven years. Although he directed shorts in Netflix anthologies Lust Stories and Ghost Stories, the last feature film helmed by him was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016).

Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani is scheduled to be released on July 28.
