Rajshri Productions to back Avnish S Barjatya's debut directorial

The film will be backed by the production house, in association with Jio Studios

On Thursday, Rajshri Productions (P) Ltd. announced that they will be backing director Avnish S Barjatya's maiden directorial feature, titled Dono. The film will be backed by the production house, in association with Jio Studios. 

Marking 75 years in Bollywood, Dono will be Rajshri Productions' 59th film, which is billed to be a love story. The makers promise that the film will bring back the romance in its purest form. The teaser for Dono will be released by the makers on July 25. 

Avnish, a debut director plans to bring two new faces in a novel love story. The film is like a throwback to Maine Pyaar Kiya (1989), which introduced Salman Khan and Bhagyashree and was directed by then-debutant Sooraj R Barjatya.
 
The film will be backed by  Kamal Kumar Barjatya, the late Rajkumar Barjatya, Ajit Kumar Barjatya, and Jyoti Deshpande of Rajshri Productions. Sooraj R Barjatya will overlook creative production for Dono. The film is expected to release in theatres soon.
