R Balki on Ghoomer: It's a tribute to the sport and the reservoir of human resilience

Filmmaker Balki's upcoming film Ghoomer will open the prestigious 14th Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). Recently, the makers released the first look of the upcoming film which stars Angad Bedi, Saiyami Kher, and Abhishek Bachchan.

Stating that the film is a tribute to the sport and the reservoir of human resilience, Balki said "It's indeed an honour and pleasure for us that Ghoomer will be the opening film at the IFFM. It is a story of turning adversity into advantage."

He further added that the film believes that sports make life worth living and hence it is fitting that the film is launched in the sport capital of the world, Australia.
