Kartik Aaryan’s Shehzada release date pushed by a week

The film, which was earlier slated to release on February 10, will now hit the screens on February 17

Seems like the Shehzada needs to wait till the Badshah leaves the theatre. The release date of Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon starrer Shehzada has been pushed by a week. The film will now drop in theatres on February 17. It was earlier scheduled to release on February 10.

Pathaan is seeing tremendous growth in box office numbers. The film has made Rs 542 crore gross worldwide in just five days since its release on January 25.

The film hit another Rs 100 crore-plus day in its fifth day, as it registered Rs 60.75 crore nett in India (Hindi - Rs 58.50, all dubbed versions - Rs 2.25 crore), taking the India gross to 70 crore.

The overseas gross on day five is at Rs 42 crore ($5.13 million), taking the total collection on its fourth day of release to Rs. 112 crore gross. In 5 days, Pathaan has recorded $25.42 million (207.2 crore) in overseas territories alone.

Shehzada is the remake of Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020). Before it, Kartik was in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, a major hit, and Freddy, an OTT release, in 2022. He also has Satyaprem Ki Katha and Aashiqui 3 on the cards.
