Anushka Ranjan, who was seen in films like Wedding Pullav, Batti Gul Meter Chalu and Gulabi Lens, wishes to experiment more with her roles.

Stating that she doesn’t want to be trapped in a kind of role, Anushka says, “It’s easy to get into a comfort zone; I don’t want that. I want to be the first to bring a new genre to Bollywood.”

"Do we have a supergirl in Bollywood? Something along the lines of Captain Marvel. I would love to do something on the lines of that. It has never been done before. If we can have superheroes, why can't we have supergirls?” she adds.

Apart from the films, Anushka also played the lead in the AltBalaji series, Fittrat, which also starred her husband and actor Aditya Seal.
