The Elephant Whisperers have been gaining widespread appreciation from all around the corner ever since it secured the glorious oscar nod for Best Documentary Short Film. Of late global star Priyanka Chopra has showered praises on the film.

The actor has taken to social media to share her appreciation for the film," A trunk filled with emotions. It is one of the most heartwarming documentaries I have watched recently, and I loved it—big shout out to the makers for bringing this amazing story to life.  

The Elephant Whisperers tells the tale of an elderly couple — Bomman and Bellie — who become caretakers of two abandoned baby elephants, Raghu and Ammukutty.

The documentary short has been helmed by Karthiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga under Sikhya Entertainment. Guneeta Monga served as an executive producer for Period. End of Sentence. Which won the 2019 Academy Award for Best Documentary Short.
