Sobhita Dhulipala will soon be sharing screen space for the first time with actors Anil Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur for Disney+ Hostar’s upcoming series The Night Manager. The series is the official adaptation of a British series of the same name which featured Hugh Laurie and Tom Hiddleston. Both shows are based on John le Carré’s novel The Night Manager.  

Sobhita plays Kaveri, the wife of Anil Kapoor’s character Shailendra (Shelly) Rungta, an arms dealer. Describing the character, Sobhita said, “There’s a certain intrigue to Kaveri. On better days, you feel like you get a sense of who she is, but you could never be too sure of what she is.”

As per the series trailer, Kaveri will strike an affair with Aditya Roy Kapur’s Shantanu Sengupta, a hotel’s night manager, who has been tasked by the Indian intelligence agencies to infiltrate Shelly’s network.

Produced by The Ink Factory and Banijay Asia, the series is created and directed by Sandeep Modi and second director Priyanka Ghosh. The Night Manager starts streaming on Disney+ Hotstar on February 17.
