Netflix, on Monday, released the trailer of their upcoming web series Friday Night Plan. Starring Babil Khan and Amrith Jayanth in the lead, the series is all set to premiere on the streaming platform on September 1. 

The trailer starts by showing Siddharth (Babil Khan) as a not-so-very-popular kid at school, who suddenly gets noticed after kicking the winning goal in the school football match. As his mother (Juhi Chawla) incidentally leaves town for a night, he makes plans with his younger brother played by Amrith, to have one Friday night of fun and party. However, things go haywire as they lose control of the situation. 

The upcoming web series is helmed by Vatsal Neelakantan. Friday Night Plan is produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their Excel Entertainment banner. Medha Rana, Aadhya Anand, and Ninad Kamat are also a part of the cast of the series.

Babil Khan is the son of the late actor Irrfan Khan. He made his debut last year in the Netflix film Qala. Meanwhile, Juhi Chawla was last seen in Hush Hush, a 2022 Prime Video series created and directed by Tanuja Chandra.
