Here's when Nushrratt Bharuccha's Akelli is hitting screens

Set in Iraq, Akelli is a survival tale that, according to the logline, "showcases how a person realises her own capabilities in adverse situations like being trapped in the desert land."

Nushrratt Bharccha, who is making quite an impact with her choice of films in recent times, is set to return to the theatres with Akelli. The film, directed by debutant filmmaker Pranay Meshram, will hit the screens on August 25. 

Set in Iraq, Akelli is a survival tale that, according to the logline, "showcases how a person realises her own capabilities in adverse situations like being trapped in the desert land."

The film was initially expected to be out on August 18, and it has now been rescheduled. 

Sharing this announcement on social media, Reliance Entertainment posted, "Akelli - Her survival echoes louder than the chaos around her. The tale of survival has a new date, 25th August!" 

Backed by Nitin Vaidya, Ninad Vaidya, Aparna Padgaonkar along with Vicky Sidana and Shashant Shah, Akelli stars Fauda actors Tsahi Halevi and Amir Boutrous, who are making their debut in India with this film.
