Recently, Disney+ Hotstar announced its new Commando series. The series is a spinoff of the Commando film franchise which originally starred Vidyut Jammwal. Produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the series will feature debutant actor Prem and Adah Sharma as the leads.

Talking about how Vidyut has set a bench-mark in action films which he aspires to reach, Prem said, “Making a debut with something as big as Commando is surely a great deal. While I hope that the audience can resonate with me, Vidyut sir will always remain the OG commando.”

“He has taken this action franchise to another level altogether. He is an inspiration for me or anyone else who wants to become an action star. In fact, I feel grateful that I had a benchmark to aspire to reach,” he added.

The series is set to stream on Disney+ Hotstar from August 11.
