Actor Vidyut Jammwal’s upcoming film titled IB 71 is set to hit the theatres on May 12. Ahead of the film's release, the makers unveiled the trailer on Monday. 

The two-minute trailer of IB 71 shows Vidyut as an IB (Intelligence Bureau) agent in 1971. Along with Anupam Kher, he comes up with plans to keep the nation safe from an attack by Pakistan. 

Previously, the makers released the poster of IB 71. In the poster, Vidyut was seen in the look of an officer and a sketch of an aeroplane was made with red. The poster also featured Anupam Kher. 

Directed by Sankalp Reddy, IB 71 marks Vidyut’s maiden film as a producer under his banner Action Hero Film. The film is also backed by Reliance Entertainment and T-series. 

The technical crew consists of Gnana Shekar VS as a cinematographer and editor Sandeep Francis. Music has been scored by Vikram Montrose with a background score by Prashanth Vih.
