Alia Bhatt after watching Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway: For me, as a new mother, it hit so much harder

Alia Bhatt is all praises for Rani Mukerji’s film Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway. The actor spent Saturday night watching the film with her mom Soni Razdan and sister Shaheen Bhatt. After, Alia took to her Instagram stories to share her thoughts on the film. “For me, especially as a new mother, it hit so much harder and so much closer to home,” Alia wrote.

Praising Rani’s performance, the Darlings actor said that Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway was an “Important story to tell”. “Rani ma’am - there’s no one like you! You had me transfixed and I was transported right by your side from Norway to India! Congratulations to the full team for this incredible film,” wrote Alia.

Alia also lauded Jim Sarbh’s acting skills. Jim plays lawyer Daniel Singh Ciupek in the film. “P.S- I am convinced there’s nothing my fav @jimsarbhforreal can’t do - an absolute chameleon.”

Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is based on the real-life story of an immigrant mother who fights against all odds to regain her children's custody after they are taken by Norway’s child welfare services. Directed by Ashima Chibber, the film also stars Anirban Bhattacharya and Neena Gupta.
