Brahmastra Part One: Shiva minted Rs 300 crore (gross) at the global box office during the first week, as per the makers.

‘WEEK 2 BEGINS,” director Ayan Mukerji posted on Instagram, along with a video showing clips from the film.

Brahmastra was subject to a massive boycott campaign online because of lead actor Ranbir Kapoor’s previous comments on beef. Irrespective of that, the film is on the track of overtaking Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 to become the second highest Hindi grosser of the year. The biggest commercial success of the year still remains The Kashmir Files.

Produced by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is currently in theatres in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada with a stellar ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni.
