Laal Singh Chaddha director Advait Chandan has rubbished rumours of his alleged fallout with Aamir Khan. A recent report claimed the two had fallen out in the aftermath of Laal Singh Chaddha's performance.

Sharing a jolly picture with Aamir where the two are seen holding up a surfboard, Advait wrote on Instagram, "Guys, for all those talking about a fall out between Aamir sir and me, I just want to say that we are like Genie and Aladin, Baloo and Mowgli, Amar and Prem.

#HumSaathSaathHain #Bandhan #AamirKhan #LaalSinghChaddha."

Advait had begun his career as an assistant on Taare Zameen Par (2007). After managing Aamir for many years and associating with other projects, Advait directed Aamir in his filmmaking debut, Secret Superstar (2017). This was followed by their second collaboration on Laal Singh Chaddha (2022). The film, an adaptation of Forrest Gump, witnessed a lukewarm response at the box office amid calls for a boycott on social media. It saw a reappraisal following its digital release on Netflix, with fans praising certain scenes for their emotional power.
