Vishnu Manchu officially confirms Android Kunjappan Vr 5.25 remake

We had recently reported that a Telugu remake of the hit Malayalam film Android Kunjappan Vr 5.25 is in the works, with sources claiming that senior actor Mohan Babu is set to step into the shoes of Suraj Venjaramoodu. Mohan Babu's son and actor Vishnu Manchu officially confirmed the development.

During a recent interaction with this followers on the micro-blogging site Twitter, when asked about the truth in the development, the actor responded with a firm, "Yes."

The 2019 Malayalam film was directed by Ratheesh Balakrishna Poduval was a commercial and critical success. The film also inspired a Tamil remake, titled Koogle Kuttappa, starring KS Ravikumar in the titular role.

Apart from Mohan Babu, the cast and crew details of the Telugu remake remain under wraps and are expected to be announced shortly. It is, however, speculated that the film will be Mohan Babu's home production, like his recent films, Gayathri and Son of India.

Meanwhile, Vishnu is set to be next seen in Ginna, co-starring Sunny Leone and Payal Rajput.
