Sushmita Sen recently signed a web series produced by Deepak Mukut, which is set to go on floors by the end of this year. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the actor has been roped in for another web series for Voot Select. 

According to the buzz, the actor is reported to play transgender activist Gauri Sawant, who is the director of the Sakhi Char Chowgi organization that helps transgender people and others with HIV/AIDS. She gained popularity after being featured in a Vicks ad. The six-episode series is said to revolve around the ups and downs of Gauri's life and her relationship with her adopted daughter. The project, produced by Arjun Singhh Baran and Kartik D Nishandar will reportedly go on floors by the end of November.
