After slow start, Vikram Vedha’s box office rises by 25 to 30 per cent on second day

The rise has mostly come from multiplexes, while single screens witnessed a slight drop

Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan- starrer Vikram Vedha showed a growth of 25 to 30 percent on the box office, on the second day of its release. As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, the film had a meek start and collected Rs 10.58 crore on its opening day. On Saturday, however, this figure jumped to the range of Rs 13.25 to Rs 13.75 crore. The two-day total of Vikram Vedha stands at approx. Rs. 24 crore and it will be targeting a weekend of Rs. 40 crore.

As per the report, the rise has mostly come from multiplexes, while single screens witnessed a slight drop. The multiplexes are up by 35 percent whereas the mass centers i.e. single screens are down by about 5-7 percent.

The film also stars Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, Sharib Hashmi and Satyadeep Mishra in pivotal roles.

Vikram Vedha is presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & Jio Studios and a YNOT Studios Production. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar, S. Sashikanth and Reliance Entertainment.

The film released on September 30 and received mixed reviews.
