Amitabh Bachchan's Goodbye to stream on Netflix from this date

Goodbye, the recently released Amitabh Bachchan film which opened to postive reception, will be available for streaming on Netflix from December 2, the platform announced on social media.

Besides Amitabh, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sunil Grover, Elli AvrRam, Sahil Mehta, Shivin Narang, and Abhishekh Khan. The film released in theatres on October 7 and was welcomed with positive reviews.

Goodbye’s story centres on a family, who is dealing with the mother’s death. As Amitabh plays the head of the family, Pavail Gulati plays the dutiful, workaholic son. Elli AvrRam is Karan’s foreign wife Lisa, while Sahil Mehta and Rashmika are Pavail’s siblings.

“The film is laced with beautiful and nuanced scenes that take its viewers on an emotional roller-coaster. You cry and then laugh out loud, you smile in appreciation, and then feel like calling your loved ones,” CE review of the film noted.

Directed by Vikas Bahl, Goodbye is backed by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, Saraswati Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Viraj Sawant, Vikas Bahl. The technical crew of Goodbye consists of Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti as the cinematographer and is edited by A Sreekar Prasad. Amit Trivedi has composed the music.
