Rajiv Kapoor's final film, Toolsidas Junior, was expected to drop on Netflix on April 19 but did not. As per reports, the film will now stream on the platform from May 23.

The sports drama tells the story of a young snooker player, played by Varun Buddhadev. Rajiv plays his snooker-genius father who suffers a crushing loss. The film also has Sanjay Dutt as a snooker champ turned coach.

Rajiv Kapoor was slated to make his acting come back with Toolsidas Junior. He had quit acting in 1990 to focus on producing and directing. However, he passed away in 2021 due to a cardiac arrest.

Toolsidas Junior is produced by Ashutosh Gowarikar. It is directed by Mridul Mahendra.
