This is not true: Kapil Sharma on claims of refusing to invite Vivek Agnihotri on his show

Comedian Kapil Sharma has denied refusing to invite Vivek Agnihotri to promote The Kashmir Files on The Kapil Sharma Show. On Twitter, responding to a fan query, Vivek had said that he wanted to be on the show. However, he claimed that he and his team weren't invited because the film lacks a big star.

Soon after, the trend 'Boycott Kapil Sharma'  picked up online.

Responding to a user in Hindi, Kapil wrote, "This is not true, Rathod Sahab. You asked so I am replying. Otherwise, there is no point in replying to those who have assumed it to be true."

"Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user:- never believe in a one-sided story in today’s social media world dhanyawaad," he added.

The Kashmir Files explores the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the 1990s. The film opens in theatres on March 11.
