Ranveer Singh's Jayeshbhai Jordaar starts streaming on Amazon Prime Video

Ranveer Singh-starrer Jayeshbhai Jordaar is streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 10. The film, a social comedy-drama set in Gujarat, was released in theatres on May 13 and witnessed an underwhelming run. This is Amazon's second licensing deal with Yash Raj Films (YRF) after Bunty Aur Babli 2.

In Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer plays the docile Gujarati son of a village sarpaanch (Boman Irani). When Jayesh discovers that his wife, Mudra (Shalini Pandey), is pregnant with a girl child, he runs off from his family to save his unborn. The film highlights the serious issue of female foeticide with a mix of humour, action and high-jinks.

Ranveer will next feature in an interactive Netflix special with Bear Grylls. Titled Ranveer vs Wild, it will see the actor venturing into a Serbian forest to find a rare flower for his lady love.

The actor also has Circus, directed by Rohit Shetty, and Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, directed by Karan Johar. While Circus is expected to release this year, Rocky Aur Rani... will hit theatres on February 10, 2023.
