Alaya F of Jawaani Jaanema-fame has wrapped up shooting for her upcoming thriller film U-Turn.

Arif Khan is directing the film, which is an official remake of the Kannada film of the same name. Alaya will be reprising the lead role of a journalist played by Shraddha Srinath in the original. 

Samantha starred in the Tamil and Telugu versions of U-Turn.

After wrapping up the shoot, Alaya shared "This film is very special to me and being the last day of this beautiful journey, it is just unbelievable. I am very grateful for the very lovely crew who was giving their all, every day, no matter how difficult some days were. Everyone really pulled through."

U-Turn is produced by Cult Movies, which is the new division under Shobha Kapoor and Ekta R Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms.
