Choreographer and director Farah Khan recently revealed that one of the most popular Hindi tracks, Aankhon Mein Teri, was initially not planned to be a part of  Om Shanti Om (2007).

According to IANS, noting that it is one of her favourite songs, she said, "This song was picturised before the film and when the movie got over, that time Vishal made us listen to the tune. After hearing it I told him, 'I wanted this song in the film', and our editor again re-edited the song so beautifully." She also expressed her gratitude to music composers Vishal and Shekhar for this song.

Om Shanti Om, the fantasy romance film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is directed by Farah Khan and she co-wrote it with Mayur Puri and Mushtaq Shiekh. The 2007 film was produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.
