Telugu actor Adivi Sesh's HIT 2, which hit the theatres on December 3, is set to be dubbed and released in Hindi on December 30. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film is a sequel to his 2020 film HIT: The First Case, which starred Vishwak Sen in the lead role.

HIT 2 is a crime thriller in which Adivi Sesh plays a police officer named Krishna Dev aka KD. The story follows his investigation of a murder case of a girl whose body is found mysteriously. It has Meenakshi Chaudhary playing the female lead.

HIT 2 also stars Rao Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani, Posani Krishna Murali, Komalee Prasad, Srinath Maganti, and Srikanth Iyengar, among others. It has cinematography by Manikandan, and edits by Garry BH. MM Sree Lekha and Suresh Bobbili scored the music for the film. 

Director Sailesh Kolanu has already announced that he is planning a cinematic universe with his HIT films by interconnecting characters and plot lines. It has also been confirmed that the third instalmment will star Nani, who is also the producer of the HIT series.
