Actor Alaya, last seen in Freddy, has joined the sets of the upcoming film Sri. The film starring Rajkumar Rao in the lead role is directed by Tushar Hiranandani. Sri is a biopic on Srikant Bolla, a visually impaired industrialist and the co-founder of Bollant Industries. It is written by Sumit Purohit and Jagdeep Sidhu. The film also features Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar.

Taking to Instagram, Alaya shared a photo of her with the clapboard from the sets of Sri. She wrote, "Back on set! my first day on the Srikanth Bolla biopic, #SRI ! so excited to begin this journey! The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Shiv Chanana, and Nidhi Parmar under the T-Series banner and Chalk and Cheese Films, respectively.
