Kamaal R Khan, popularly known as 'KRK', has been arrested by the Malad Police in Mumbai for a 2020 tweet against Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan.

As per reports, KRK was detained at the airport after landing and arrested after questioning. He's being produced at the Borivali court on Tuesday. A case was registered against KRK after a complaint by Yuva Sena member Rahul N Kanal.

On social media, people have shared screenshots of KRK's tweets from 2020. In them, he'd allegedly mocked Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan before their deaths in the pandemic.

Known for his 'reviews' and tirades against Bollywood, KRK has courted controversy multiple times. Last year, actors Salman Khan and Manoj Bajpayee had separately sued him for derogatory remarks.
