Rajkummar Rao-starrer HIT- The First Case will stream on Netflix from August 28. HIT- The First Case, the remake of a Telugu film, was released in the theatres on July 15.

The original version's director, Sailesh Kolanu, has also helmed the Hindi remake. Rajkummar Rao plays a cop at the Homicide Intervention Team (HIT). He is tasked with the case of finding a missing girl. Rajkumar’s character is battling past demons and suffers from PTSD. Things take a U-turn when his girlfriend Neha (Sanya) also goes missing.

The investigative thriller also features actors Sanya Malhotra, Dalip Tahil, Milind Gunaji, Shilpa Shukla and Sanjay Narvekar. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Dil Raju, Krishan Kumar, and Kuldeep Rathore.

The Telugu film, which released in 2020, featured Vishwak Sen and Ruhani Sharma in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Rajkumar has a bunch of upcoming projects in the pipeline, including Bheed, Monica, O My Darling and Mr and Mrs Mahi.
