Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Shamshera released in theatres last month. After an underwhelming box-office performance, the film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

On Twitter, stills from the film's climax—featuring a clash between British forces and a rebel tribe—have gone viral over an apparent 'goof-up'. In them, Ranbir and Vaani Kapoor's characters are seen cradling a baby that's evidently a bundle of rolled cloth. Other stills from the film reveal the obvious doll-like features of the supposed baby.

"Let's just assume that there is a baby," a user wrote sharing a clip from the film.

Shamshera unfolds in the late-1800s, following the travails of a dacoit clan that is tricked and imprisoned by a brutal daroga (Sanjay Dutt). Ranbir plays the dual role of Shamshera, the clan's leader, and Balli, Shamshera's son. Vaani essays a nautch girl who falls for Balli and bears his child.
