Jugjugg Jeeyo to re-release in theatres

The film, which first released on June 24, also hit streaming services (Amazon Prime Video) on July 22

Dharma Productions' latest superhit film, Jugjugg Jeeyo, is set to have a re-release in the theatres on the occasion of India's 76th Independence Day.

The film, which first released on June 24, also hit streaming services (Amazon Prime Video) on July 22.

Announcing the update, Karan Johar's production house wrote, "#JugJuggJeeyo India! You asked. We heard. They're back on the big screens! Celebrating the strong bond of family starting from this #IndependenceDay and through the festive week - as the JugJugg Jeeyo parivaar comes back to the big screens!" 

According to a poster, shared by the makers, the movie is releasing in "select PVR Cinemas across India".

Starring an ensemble cast of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, Jugjugg Jeeyo also featured Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli in pivotal roles.

Directed by Raj Mehta, Jugjugg Jeeyo raised over Rs 100 crore at the global box office during its run in theatres.
