Anil Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor starrer Thar will be released on Netflix on May 6, the streaming giant announced recently.

The film, produced by Anil Kapoor Film Company (AKFC) and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary, also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Satish Kaushik. Thar is written by Raj with dialogues by Anurag Kashyap.

Set in the Western Noir world, the film tells the story of Sidhharth, played by Harsh, an antique dealer. It traces his journey through a remote village in Rajasthan that has recently been rocked by violent killings. As the local cop, Surekha Singh investigates these killings and he crosses paths with Siddharth.

Thar is the second collaboration between Anil Kapoor and Harsh after Netflix’s AK vs AK where Anurag Kashyap also played a pivotal role.
