Rajiv Kapoor's final film, Toolsidas Junior, will release on Netflix on April 19. The sports drama tells the story of a young snooker player, played by Varun Buddhadev. Sanjay Dutt is featured in the cast as a veteran snooker champ turned coach. 

Rajiv Kapoor was slated to make his acting comeback with Toolsidas Junior. He had quit acting in 1990 to focus on producing and directing. However, he passed away in 2021 due to a cardiac arrest at the age of 58. 

Ashutosh Gowariker, who has produced Toolsidas Junior, had earlier opened up about Rajiv's untimely demise before the film's release.

"It was really lovely to work with Rajiv. On sets, he was an absolute professional. And played the part with so much fun, dignity and ease.

What an affable person he was. His performance in Toolsidas Junior is going to surprise everyone," Ashutosh had shared.
