Mere Desh Ki Dharti to release in theatres on May 6

Divyendu Sharma-starrer Mere Desh Ki Dharti will release in theatres on May 6. The film, directed by Faraz Haider, is a social drama addressing the rural-urban divide in India. Anupriya Goenka and Anant Vidhaat Sharma are also featured in the cast.

"It’s fascinating to see how our audiences react to films that are inspirational and convey a powerful and compelling message," Dibyendu was quoted as saying by ANI. "Mere Desh Ki Dharti has been a long time coming for both us and the audience, and I’m overjoyed that it will be released in theatres on May 6th.”

Faraz Haider had directed the comedies Nanu Ki Jaanu (2018) and War Chhod Na Yaar (2013).

Divyendu is best known for Mirzapur and  Pyaar Ka Punchnama. He stars in YRF Entertainment's maiden web series The Railway Men, with R. Madhavan, Kay Kay Menon and Babil Khan.
