Vidyut Jammwal's latest film Sanak – Hope Under Siege is set to release on the holy occasion of Dussehra on October 15.

Directed by Kanishk Varma, the film will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar Multiplex. The announcement regarding the release date was made with a new poster that features Vidyut in a hospital setting. He is seen holding a gun in one hand and a baby in the other.

Sanak billed as an action thriller also stars Bengali actress Rukmini Maitra, Neha Dhupia, and Chandan Roy Sanyal among others. The film is produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah and Zee Studios.

"I am happy to announce the date of Sanak, which we shot under the most difficult circumstances of COVID-19," Vipul Shah shares. "The sole purpose of putting all the effort was to keep entertaining people and again, as usual, we have tried to take the action a notch higher than the Commando series. I believe that we have achieved it.” 

Vidyut Jammwal's 2020 film, Khuda Haafiz, was also released on Disney+ Hotstar. The actor is presently working on its sequel, Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2. He will also be seen in IB71.
