Given the Gujarati town setting of Rashmi Rocket, the makers have released a Navratri-themed song from the film. The track, Ghani Cool Chori, an upbeat dance number featuring Taapsee Pannu and Priyanshu Painyuli, is now out.
Composed by Amit Trivedi and sung by Bhoomi Trivedi, the festive song sees Taapsee in a traditional ghagra-choli garba outfit. The track is written by lyricist Kausar Munir.
Set in Kutch, Rashmi Rocket follows a young athlete forced to take a gender test. The film charts her journey as she fights an unjust sporting law in court.
Rashmi Rocket is directed by Akarsh Khurana and written by Nanda Periyasamy, Aniruddha Guha and Kanika Dhillon. The extended cast features Supriya Pathak, Abhishek Banerjee, and Supriya Pilgaonkar.
The film is set to premiere on ZEE5 on October 15.
