The actor, however, has asked his producers to continue filming scenes that do not require him. His other commitments will also continue, a source told Hindustan Times.

Akshay's mother, Aruna Bhatia, is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Hiranandani Hospital in Mumbai.

Cindrella is a supposed remake of the 2018 Tamil psychological thriller Ratsasan. The Hindi version stars Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead. In an earlier interaction, Akshay confirmed he is shooting for Cindrella without delving into details.
