Netflix on Wednesday announced a multi-year partnership with Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment. Excel will produce a range of stories under its series banner Excel Media & Entertainment for Netflix, beginning with two projects tentatively titled Dabba Cartel and Queen of the Hill.
Dabba Cartel is a story of five housewives who run a high stakes secret cartel. Queen of the Hill chronicles the dynamic relationship between two ambitious women in 60s Mumbai.

In Bollywood, Netflix had previously announced a partnership with Sanjay Leela Bhansali for his debut series Heeramandi.
