Disney+ Hotstar's series Aarya is returning for a second season. The first season, which aired last year, has been nominated for the 2021 International Emmy Awards in the Best Drama Series category.

Actor Vikas Kumar, who plays the role of ACP Khan in the series, shared his reaction to the prestigious nod. "I was driving to a studio to dub for Aarya 2 when I received a message from our co-star. I was obviously ecstatic! It doesn't get bigger than this," Vikas said.

Aarya 2 will see Sushmita Sen's titular character on the path of revenge. The series is directed by Ram Madhvani. Vikas and Ram have also collaborated on Dhamaka.
