Bollywood star Salman Khan revealed earlier today that there he might collaborate with superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a film. The duo will be seen making extended appearances in their upcoming movies, Tiger 3 and Pathan, respectively.

Salman further revealed that Tiger 3, the third instalment of the spy action-thriller franchise, will release in December 2022. The film has Karika Kaif reprising her role as Zoya, and Emraan Hashmi playing the antagonist. The film is directed by Maneesh Sharma.

Incidentally, Yash Raj Films, which backs Tiger 3, will also produce Shah Rukh Khan's Pathan, which will feature Salman in an extended cameo appearance. Further, according to reports, the two films will be a part of YRF's 'spy universe', which will ultimately bring its heroes for a movie together.

During a media interaction, Salman said, "We are coming together in Tiger and Pathan. Tiger 3 should be released by December 2022, before that Pathan will release. Then maybe both of us will come together."

Pathan, directed by Siddharth Anand, marks Shah Rukh's first film since the 2019 romantic drama Zero, in which Salman also had a cameo.

Salman also confirmed that he will be filming for his recently announced Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel after he finishes two of his projects, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali and the second instalment of the hit comedy No Entry. He also added that he does not have any plans to work with SS Rajamouli, the son of KV Vijayendra Prasad who is writing the Bajrangi Bhaijaan sequel.
