Ben Schwartz has joined Renfield, Universal's new Dracula film. The studio hasn’t confirmed whether the film will be a full-fledged comedy yet, but the cast, writing, and directing selections point towards it.

He joins previously announced cast members Nicholas Hoult of Mad Max: Fury Road fame, who is set to play the title character, Nicolas Cage (Pig), who will be the biggest vampire that ever existed, and Awkwafina.

Apart from this film, Schwartz will be reprising Sonic in Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Aside from that, he has also done voice work for the upcoming DC League of Super-Pets and Leonardo in the Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, based on the Nickelodeon animated series.
