Abhishek Bachchan-starrer Bob Biswas has garnered over 3.5 million views over its first weekend, read a press note from the makers. The film also has a present IMDb rating of 7.2. 

Bob Biswas dropped on ZEE5 on December 3. The film, directed by Diya Annapurna Ghosh and written by Sujoy Ghosh, is a spin-off to the 2012 crime thriller Kahaani. Abhishek essays the role of contract killer Bob Biswas, recently revived from a coma and unable to recall his former life. The film also features Chitrangda Singh, Samara Tijori and Paran Bandopadhyay. 

Speaking about his OTT foray (Bob Biswas is his second digital release after Breathe: Into The Shadows), Abhishek told Cinema Express in an interview: "It is an exciting medium and it is here to stay. There is a lot of impactful storytelling that is happening in this space."
