Shanthipriya, who made her Bollywood debut opposite Akshay Kumar in Saugandh (1991), will feature in the upcoming web series Dharavi Bank opposite Suniel Shetty.

Dharavi Bank is directed by Samit Kakkad. The series stars Suniel and Shanthipriya with Sonali Kulkarni, Vivek Oberoi, Freddy Daruwala and Santosh Juvekar. It will stream on MX Player.

Talking about the series, Shanthipriya says, "Right now I can't reveal much details about my role, but it's definitely one of the most interesting and different avatars my fans will get to witness. I wanted to do something different, a creatively satisfying role and this is one of those."

Shanthipriya's last Bollywood appearance was in Mohabbaton Ka Safar (1995), according to IMDb. She has also featured in the Hindi TV shows Mata Ki Chowki and Dwarkadheesh Bhagwaan Shree Krishn.
