Bob Biswas actor Bhanu Uday Goswami: In gratitude for the response

CE Features

Actor Bhanu Uday Goswami plays Special Branch officer Jisshu in Bob Biswas. The film opens with Bob, played by Abhishek Bachchan, rising from a coma and returning to his wife and kids. Soon, though, he's whisked away by Jisshu and his partner, who assign a series of new hits to Bob.

Uday had previously worked with Abhishek in Ludo (2020). The actor is also known for Manto, Unfreedom and Stories by Rabindranath Tagore

"As luck would have it, this is the second time that I got to share screen space with  Mr Abhishek Bachchan," Bhanu shares. "The brilliant actor and person that he is, it just felt like an extension of one journey to another.  He is extremely witty and has immense knowledge of his work. He took Bob to the next level."

Bhanu feels humbled by the response he's been getting for Bob Biswas. "Extremely humbled and overjoyed with the responses. It was such a crisp, strong and well-written part to play. For an actor, being appreciated for the smallest nuances is the greatest response ever. I am in gratitude," he says.

Bob Biswas is streaming on Zee5.
