Arjun Kapoor to replace Abhishek Bachchan in Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake?

It was rumoured last week that Abhishek Bachchan has dropped out of director Jagan Shakti's Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake.

Abhishek was said to play the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran in the 2020 Malayalam original. The titular role, portrayed by Biju Menon, has gone to John Abraham. 

According to a new report in Pinkvilla, Abhishek has been replaced by Arjun Kapoor in the forthcoming project. Abhishek and John and presently shooting together for Ek Villain Returns. They will reunite for Jagan's film in November, a source told the online portal. 

Arjun's upcoming release is Bhoot Police co-starring Saif Ali Khan. The film is a horror-comedy about two ghost-hunting brothers.
