Following the first trailer that was released earlier this year, the makers of the horror film, Abigail released a new trailer on Thursday.

Abigail is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who goes by the name Radio Silence and are best known for the horror hits Ready or Not, 2022’s Scream and last year’s Scream VI. Written by Stephen Shields and Guy Busick, the film will hit the theatres on April 19.

The film is about a group of kidnappers whose latest victim, Abigail, is a vampire. The film's official synopsis read, "After a group of would-be criminals kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure, all they have to do to collect a $50 million ransom is watch the girl overnight. In an isolated mansion, the captors start to dwindle, one by one, and they discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl."

The film stars Melissa Barrera, Dan Stevens, Kathryn Newton, William Catlett, Kevin Durand, and Angus Cloud, and Alisha Weir in the titular role.
