The first look teaser trailer for the sixth instalment in the popular slasher series Scream has been released online. The teaser was released on Paramount Pictures’ official Youtube page. Scream 6 follows four survivors of the Ghostface killings who leave Woodsboro for a fresh start but things take a turn for the worse soon.

Scream  6 is directed by Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, the duo had earlier made the 2022 entry in the long-running franchise. The upcoming film will serve as a direct sequel to the 2022 film. Scream 6 is based on a screenplay written by James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick.

The film has an ensemble cast that includes Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, Melissa Barrera, Samara Weaving, Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Skeet Ulrich, and Jasmin Savoy Brown. While the above-mentioned cast members will be reprising their roles from the 2022 film, new additions to the cast list include Dermot Mulroney, Henry Czerny, Samara Weaving, and Tony Revolori. Scream 6 is currently scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 10 March 2023.
