The first official trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 has been released online. James Gunn returns to write and direct the final instalment in the GOTG trilogy along with the main cast from the previous two films. According to the director, GOTG Vol.3 will mark the final appearance of this set of Guardians. The film also introduces the popular Marvel character Adam Warlock portrayed by Will Poulter.

The trailer shows the guardians coming together to go on galactic missions during which they encounter Adam Warlock. After the events of Avengers: Endgame, we are introduced to a Gamora from an alternate timeline who has no memory of falling in love with Star-Lord and being a part of the guardians. 

The film is part of phase five of the ongoing Marvel Cinematic Universe. The ensemble cast of the film includes Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Will Poulter, Elizabeth Debicki, and Sylvester Stallone.

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 is currently scheduled to release on 5 May 2023.
