Little Miss Sunshine star Abigail Breslin to headline Pipe Cleaner Boy

Abigail Breslin will play Rachel in Pipe Cleaner Boy

Actor Abigail Breslin, best known for playing Olive Hoover in Little Miss Sunshine (2006), is set to lead the upcoming road-trip comedy, titled Pipe Cleaner Boy. Also starring alongside her are Yasmin Kassim (You, Always) and Booboo Stewart (Twilight). Anna Rose Moore is writing and directing the film. The production is set to begin in October.

The film follows a shattered Rachel (Breslin), whose orderly life implodes after her fiance cheats on her and she loses her job. To reset her life, she sets off on a cross-country road trip along with her free-spirited best friend Leeza (Kassim), as they track down a boy from Rachel's past to make amends for wronging him.

Moore, who recently wrote the upcoming comedy feature for BuzzFeed Studios, Adulting, makes her feature debut with Pipe Cleaner Boy. Brynn Lucas, Mark Myers, Charles Papert, and Cris Cordero are producing the film.

In addition to her role in Little Miss Sunshine, Breslin has also starred in the Zombieland films, with her last film being Chapter 51. She has Coerte Voorhees' As Deep as the Grave in the pipeline. She will also be seen in the fourth and final season of Netflix's espionage thriller The Night Agent.
