Apple TV has announced that the thriller series, Imperfect Women has been renewed for a second season. Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington will reprise their roles for the upcoming second season of the show.

Annie Weisman has created the show, and is serving as a showrunner along with Justin Hillian. Araminta Hall's novel of the same name has been adapted for the first season. The makers have revealed that the second season will be set in the affluent Martha's Vineyard area of the USA.

Speaking to Apple about the renewal, Washington said, "We were thrilled to see how deeply these women and their stories resonated with audiences around the world, and I’m so excited to step back into Eleanor’s shoes. She’s intelligent and strong, but she also finds herself navigating complicated and sometimes messy situations. We can’t wait to explore a fresh chapter for her and share where this story takes us next."

Washington serves as an executive producer, backing the show under her Simpson Street banner along with Love and Squalor Pictures banner.

The first season of the series follows the relationship between three women, which is shattered when a paradigm shifting truth about one of them surfaces.
